we live in el dorado county near folsom and placerville. we want to have a fun day trip for two 19 year olds. we want to keep our travels within a 2-3 hour drive any direction. we dont do snow sports, drink or party. we like the beach and shopping. sight seeing etc.something off the norm to make it a special birthday. we have already done old sac, tahoe and san francisco any suggestions that are off the beaten path?...
